Auritea 2019 and Carapace Lunga Attesa 2019 Awarded Silver Medal at WOW! The Italian Wine Competition 2026
Auritea 2019, Cabernet Franc, Costa Toscana IGT 2019 by Tenute Lunelli Podernovo and Carapace Lunga Attesa 2019, Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG bt Tenute Lunelli Carapace have been awarded the Silver Medal at the ninth edition of WOW! The Italian Wine Competition 2026, the competition organized by Civiltà del bere and recognized as one of the most authoritative events dedicated to excellence in Italian winemaking.
The two wines received the award following a blind tasting conducted by an international panel of wine professionals, who evaluated each entry based on both its intrinsic quality and its level of typicity.
With this achievement, Auritea 2019 and Carapace Lunga Attesa 2019 join the ranks of wines awarded the Silver Medal, a distinction reserved for labels that have achieved a total score of at least 95 points.
This recognition once again confirms Tenute Lunelli’s commitment to expressing the unique identity of some of Italy’s most renowned wine regions, crafting wines that authentically reflect their terroirs while faithfully interpreting the character of each grape variety and appellation.
